The River
Stones settle then tossed
again in the river, Changing
color, texture by whirl of days
Rain tip taps then merges
Within the river, Dissolving
Spirals, self by waterways
Light flickers then refracts
On skin of the river, Singing
Unnamed, dappling of Praise
Anger bones shake then break
In the river torrent, Rushing
collides, consuming grief’s outrage
Love blooms, flowers then floats
Upon the river, Swimming
free with company, evoking Unity
Silence sinks then grounds
On banks, river’s bottom, Dancing
Peace, reverence, Nature’s serenity
A splash, a trickle, a stillness deep
With the rush, the swirl & the float—
May living Trust be spawned
Return, return to the river we seek
For endless flow within & Beyond
