Tolls for Fall

Autumnal sunrise waves

At me, A curiosity call

Differently greeting the day

As the bell tolls for Fall

What new beginnings

Are washing in with tide?

What sideways releasings

Are sweeping out on sea-ride?

May I hold my divine plans

Cupped loosely in my palms

May I trust my dreams mysterious

Unfolding, no shifting silt qualms

Come in now, Autumn

I hear your swirling call🌀

Welcome home season of change

As the bell tolls for Fall

With surrendered adoration

In praise of both surprises—

What quietly takes its leave?

What seeps in to shake arises?

As Autumnal sunrise winks

Within me, A curiosity call

May I rise to greet the change

As the bell tolls for Fall
