Pearls
Born smooth & slippery
Our preciousness—birthed
Out of the Universal womb
Consciousness earthed
Overtime tumbled & bumbled
Our roughness—acquired
Around points of constriction
In pursuit of adventures or desires
In living into our embodiment
Connecting to Life’s dance
The roughness churns &burns
With frictions of choice & chance
Imperceptible shifts happen
In growth between becoming
Rough & returning to smooth
In our arc of evolution—rehoming
Yet our Spirit remains in pearlness
From birth to death, to rebirth
We need only listen in stillness
To our small precious voice of mirth
Hear our higher Self-song of above
The inner jewel that guides
Through all tumults with Love
Upon wild divinity we will glide
Blessed be our universal & unique pearls
