Outgrowing Life

Sometimes the spirit outgrows the body

Like a hermit crab outgrowing it’s shell

The body becomes

too tight,

too floppy,

too frail,

too weak,

too brittle,

too fragile,

too sick,

too short on time

in this temporal embodied life

to stay together anymore

Sometimes the spirit outgrows the body

Like steam in teapot the expansion of

the spirit must release

The spirit becomes

Too radiant

Too expansive

Too joyful

Too wondrous

Too ethereal

Too inspired

Too expressive

Too transcendent

too short on time

in this temporal embodied life

to stay together anymore

And death must come

The expansion of soul must release from

the earth body and rejoin

the ultimate body of eternal oneness

In Outgrowing this Life

we must change houses,

yet never our address of LOVE
