Seeing with Skin
Oh Little one
With Delicate Skin as if sown
from bark weave
so attuned with greatness
Greatness
of tree towering above me
Oh Great one
With fierce bark as if made
from skin of storm yet
so attuned with stillness
The stillness
in me that allows me to see
This Delicate skin emerging
from fabric of forest
To see the unseen—
Oh The unseen attunement
in me that allows me to be
To be with the little & the great
in equal measure of WE
as I stand still in awe
My awakened skin tingling
in response of THEE—woven here
in the attunement of three
Little Frog, Great Tree and me
