Murmuration
Oh to take the seasons with me
To float them out ahead of my course
As I stroke my paddle of purpose
through the sea of time
To feel their wake guiding me,
When I am set free
Oh Summer swells of warm flushing
Gently alofting my Fall hearts gushing
Oh Autumn swirls of deep cleaning
Forgiving my winter body’s dreaming
Oh Winter silence of still reflections
Harmonizing with Spring’s song selection
Oh Spring surges of savory renewal
Folding into my Summer of sweetness
Oh to take the seasons with me
To experience the past & future in murmuration,
in my flight through time
Let it be an intimate spiral dance
of freedom in the form
