Pockets Full

Pockets full of rain

On fall horizons

Previews of winter

In skies, christens

Sweeps of shadows

Under leaf bright

colors, Left by wind

Released overnight

Pockets full of blue

hanging in low

Expanse, blankets

Of sky opens glow

As if I could push

Up through, peek

As if I could know

What beyond I seek

Yet here in sweeps

of my feet, with moss & muddy

mushrooms, roots in deep

Puddles & stones remind

Such meeting of Mystery

From underneath & behind

Pockets full of wonder

A view to behold

In changes on high

As above, so below
