What Blows In?

May my attention remain

Upon what blows in

Into the vacuum of change

When a loss or a rearrange

Or a cancellation happens

A new mysterious space opens

Out of the empty radiance

A space with gifts to reveal

Or appear or prevail

May my attention remain

Upon what blows in

Into the vacuum of change

May I not miss the gifts

That arrive, blown in

To meet the divine open space

May I hold the grace

To appreciate their arrival

Here ONLY out of the loss,

The rearrange or cancellation

Of what I also hold dear

May my attention remain

Upon what blows in

Into the vacuum of change

May I bless the rearrange

While I grieve the loss,

May I receive the gifts

Blessed be.
