New Years Word

New Years Word**

My Word for the year

Spills off my tongue

Like the mouth of a river

Meeting the ocean

An intention to fill

All the spaces, in between

My moments of

Blurry, worry, hurry

Where my Word floats

Over swells like the light

Casted at sunrise, Rippling

Out to reach beyond horizon

My Word for the year

Never a goal or resolution,

Yet an intention of climate

Between the storms’ furry

Where my Word sways me

Like my boats cradle

Rocking me into this year’s

Meaning—Deeper reflection

My Word for the year

Swirls off my tongue

Condensing off my breath

To make an atmosphere of direction

Where my Word becomes

The night sky, as the spaces in between

Matter as much as the twinkling

Informing my life’s constellations

My Word for the year

Awaits my approach—

My kindness with myself

In our sailing with Spirit

May the Word for the year

Bring as much peace

As it inspires creative energy

May all dance the swells in Sea-of-Life

May all feel the vast homing Under-sky

**💫spiritual offering

what might a Word(s) for the year (instead of resolutions or goals) bring to the atmosphere of your life?
