School of Forgiveness

Where will you take your seat?

Where will you find your place?

Will you take up the familiar residence

in the back corner, near the door

With a twitchy foot to leave?

Or

Will you perch in the middle

on the outside aisle, with your eyes catching

glances out the window of the rush,

the rushing of what others might be doing,

questioning your resolve?

Or

Will you listen to your whispering chair

Your chair gently calling your name

as it presses upon your circle of sit bones

Your sacral place of meeting the divine support

behind and underneath?

Your seat in the front row

The front row of the school of forgiveness—

The school here doesn’t assign seats

Nor does it teach or preach forgiveness

No this school of forgiveness

Asks only for you to show up to sit with

forgiveness within you,

Even and especially with

The squirmy

The twitchy,

The wandering & wondering

The questioning parts of you

The forgiveness within you always available from

your circle of sit bones

Your sacral place of meeting the divine support

behind and underneath

Your seat in the front row of acceptance

And when you find your seat

May you notice there is no front row,

Only a circle of chairs;

A sacred circle of belonging💫

💫spiritual practice offering

Consider the interplay of forgiveness and gratitude within you this week. Find a stone and a leaf or flower and place your loving intentions for forgiveness in your stone, place your loving attention on gratitude in your leaf, hold them or place on sacred shelf for a time. Then when you are ready, release them back to the garden or forest or beach. Feeling into the interplay of forgiveness and gratitude, you may wish to reflect in journal or paint or dance your feelings
