nipping at my bare heals,

infusing play into my gratitude dance

The sky offers the radiance of day

Pressing on all of me, outsidein

Infusing warmer words into my poetry

The wind offers her generous tickling

sweeping through my hair, licking my ears

infusing joy into my conscious of breath

The peach offers her summer flesh

sweetening friendship under my tongue

infusing taste of growing kindness

The music offers textured beats

Surprising my barefeet, my heartmind

Infusing the delight of co-creativity

Even with momentary skinned knees

The trees offer shifting shade

Washing coolness on my shoulder blades

Infusing quiet inside my ribcage

The dog offers his tender smallness

Magnetizing my body down to ground

Infusing intimacy with grass, fur, fuzzy edges of sound

The prayer flags offer their collective hope

Flapping at our attention & intention for worldwide compassion

Infusing welcoming community

into our gathering & beyond

seen & unseen

Like the butterfly’s arrival freely offered

To fully take in the magic of this moment

unknowably measured
