Ovation
As if every surface
Fans it’s fingers
In open palms of praise
I hear the silent clapping
in this rainforest, devoted to life—
Giving over to new life
Where reverence meets
the gratitude of belonging
to Nature’s display
Rising to feet of sustained enthusiasm
for Aliveness,
Vibrations of this forest’s applause
Awaken my skin—
With squeeze-release pulsing goosebumps
Quivering my connection to ALL-That-Is
As if the standing ovation
Summoned by the stature of trees
Amplified by the singing of mycelium
Includes me and all that I can see
Invites me to take a bow in awe
to all that is unseen—
To hope, for peace, in joy, with LOVE
