To live with rain’s uncertainty

That comes in the night

Condenses my gratitude

For the shelter protecting my dreams

May that saturate my compassion

For my unhoused neighbors

To live with rain’s uncertainty

That comes in the morning

Hydrates my wonder

For the unfolding of time,

Mysteriously blooming

May that nurture my co-creativity

With all that is, seen&unseen

To live with rain’s uncertainty

That comes in a downpour at high noon

Drenches me into stillness

May that be a baptism,

Washing my salt of Universal tears

To live with rain’s uncertainty

That comes in the afternoon

Swells my enthusiasm

For life of wild wandering

May that sustain my pilgrim Way

Dancing love with all beings of earth

To live with rain’s uncertainty

That comes in the evening

Quiets my heartmind

For the days reflection,

May that be a forgiving release—

If this is to be my last day,

Delight for this precious aliveness

If I wake again for one more day,

Delight for this precious aliveness

Either way I am blessed~dissolved

Dissolved by the uncertainty of rain
