Rock, Paper, Scissors
Wind & water swirl their dance
Of who leads and who follows
With mountains abundance
making weather, churning hallow
Life making life for eternity
Changing wind, rain, snow, ice
Glacier melt cutting rock, tree
making rivers, in turns of slice
What floats here now once lived
up on high, in mountain stories
What wraps through here now
Has lived before
What slices through rock & tree
Will live beyond
What presses through you and me
Lives in roots, river, mountain
infinitely
As wind, rain, melted snow & ice
rock!paper!scissors! landscape
Not a game chance,
but of belonging to life’s dance
Nothing is lost, nothing is gained
All shape-shifts of life force energy
