Entangled
“Imagine that you could pass through two doors at once
It’s inconceivable yet fungi do it all the time”
—Entangled Life book by Merlin sheldrake
What If we sweep through doors
left and right
Pulling threads of moments
Both loosen our grip
Held then tight
An entanglement of days
Loving into opposing ways
What if we climb through hills
up and down
Magnetizing rocks of density
Both condensing our ideas
Held then blown
Into wisps of air flutes
Growing tendrils of new shoots
What if we paint through pages
front and back
Seeping colors of reddening & bluing
Both deepening our emotions
Held then diluting
Into a purpling of creative play
Resonance of the spiritual way
Oh What if we were to learn
from mycelium pathways
Our existence a verbing vibration!!
Unity shared in one conscious body
Connectivity inherent to our diversity
What if when we kissed the feet of a stranger—
we felt a loving hand our back?
…
What if only one of us is here?
