Winter’s Arrival

As the world tightens its grip

of chaos, division, despair,

I feel unexpected forces

Pressing back out of me—

Exponential gratitude

Deeply held light

Wild abundance of love

Winter’s arrival reminds me of her

Unstoppable, curious way of responding to what may seem impossible—

That the only way to grow life,

to be the light,

to know that we are only here for love

is through deep incubation with the

unknowable and All-That-Is

May Winter‘s arrival place you

in the nest of deep rest

where you come to know

that everything that you grow

depends on Nature‘s reciprocity
